Hitchhiking in New Zealand is not only fun, it invites adventure on new levels. When people found out that I was an Outward Bound instructor, I was greeted with great joy and admiration. In New Zealand, unlike the US, every citizen has an opportunity to experience an OB course, so many people I met had firstor second hand understanding of the schools mission and methodology.
